Suspected ringworm

Evening everyone, One of my new boys Marvel has a scaly looking patch under his eye. We are off to the vets tomorrow but wanted to see if any of you guys can spot it from a mile away. They are p@h pigs so I wouldn't be shocked if it is ringworm, they seem to be riddled with it. I have been on the lookout since they arrived about a month ago and so far only one of my boars looks to have any symptoms.
Any hints and tips for if one or both have it?

Hate to jinx it but dies look a bit ringwormish to me, I’d not be too surprised it a pet store has trouble getting rid of it once they are infected. It’s a definite pain to manage with multiple animals and that’s not taking into account that the animals are being handled by multiple people.

We are seeing rather a lot of it these days.

Please take the time to read these two guide links below.
Unfortunately you are too late to reclaim any vet cost from p@h as you can no longer prove that the infection must have started at the shop/commercial mass breeder.
Our very detailed hygiene tips are there to help you getting on top of it once and for all as well as showing you how an outbreak develops and runs its due course in pictures. In a dozen years of existence we have had time to find most angles on how ringworm can be passed on and how best to plug them. A bottle of F10 disinfectant is your best friend!
You always need to treat all piggies (and any other household members in direct contact with an acute ringworm piggy) but you can prevent an acute outbreak with the measures listed in the ringworm guide.

Thanks pawz and Wiebke, the guides referenced are brill. Sod’s law that it’s appeared after the 2-3 weeks store cut off, almost like they know it takes a while to show. I was not looking to get pet shop pigs but he won me over, I don’t regret it as they are lovely boys but wouldn’t recommend p@h especially to new owners. Is there a store that sells F10 or would I need to order online? I have not seen it around.

You need to order F10 online; it is however widely available on amazon or ebay.

PS: I have managed to keep my last outbreak in a room of 30 piggies to just the one affected piggy (in my case a piggy that had been originally surrendered to the vet over a very advanced case of ringworm caused by wrongly applied home treatment, so it wasn't quite a surprise that somewhere a spore had survived in his fur coat, which is very likely how your outbreak has come about, too); Barri's wife was with him during quarantine in another room but I made sure that she didn't catch it from him. So I know that the tips really work.
You just treat both in their normal cage with just two piggies. If you have other pets or small children, please make sure that they can't get to the cage, please.

Vet confirmed the ringworm diagnosis within seconds. It’s on both boys, one was hiding it under his fur. We are going for oral so I have a prescription to pick up itrafungol (none in stock at the vets). My house is now under quarantine until I get everything to treat it.

Get some nizoral/anti-dandruff shampoo from a pharmacy today to give yourself and your boys a bath to stop any spores from spreading/infecting straight away until you can get the itrafungol (these things always happen just before a weekend...)
This will stop the ringworm from spreading further while you are waiting.
Bathing (including cleaning grease glands)

The good news is that with a normal quickly treated outbreak you should be past the acute stage in 7-10 days on the itrafungol. Give yourself and the boys another bath at the end of the outbreak and at the same time you do a sign-off deep clean for a fresh ringworm spore free start.

It is going to be an intensive 1-2 weeks for you, but it will hopefully be worth all the effort to get on top it once and for all.
