Poor Sven, he was in a temporary cage on fleece for two days at my parents while it was too hot at my house, I changed the fleece once a day but I guess since he wasn’t moving much because of his abscess surgery he was in the same spot standing in his urine. I noticed he was walking funny but thought it was because his crotch hurt and he was weak. All four paws are red with some dark red spots. What can I do to help him? He is back in his normal cage on vet bed now.

Oh dear you are having a hard time with your piggies at the mo aren't you? I have never had a piggy with sore feet before so can't help you I'm afraid but someone will be along soon who can I'm sure.

Poor Sven, and poor you, those piggies are causing you a lot of stress right now! Best of luck and love and wheeks from Theo and PigglePuggle :)
PS I showed my daughter your pigtures of the 4th July parade and piggy wedding yesterday and she thought they were the cutest thing she's ever seen :)

Poor little man :( I had this with Bruno when he had problems post op. Twice a day I would clean his feet and put Gorgeous Guineas foot cream on them. Really helped clear it up and make his feet comfortable again.

When my piggies in the past had that, I usually just put some antiseptic cream 2x a day. The redness gown down after a day or two.

Will diaper rash cream work? Is that the same thing? Will it harm him if he licks it off?

Should I wash his feet with anything special or just warm water?
