Sven’s neutering and extra toe removal

I just dropped my little guy off to be neutered and get his extra toe removed. I guess he is losing 3 body parts today! It was the first skinny pig the vets office had ever seen, they were very intrigued. My vet has 30 years experience with guinea pigs, so I think he is in good hands. I’m not sure where the original owner got Sven since he was passed through a couple owners before me. I looked up skinny pig breeders and the closest one is about 300 miles from here.

Of course! I’m pretty sure my Elsa and him have started a romance through the bars! They are always laying next to each other and kissing through the bars. Sven likes to try to chew on the bars constantly to try to get to her!

Sven is eating this morning and moving around more and after a few yucky poops, he now has normal ones!

Yucky poops are a reaction to the anaesthetic. Christian had yuckety poops after his operation.
