swapping toys between cages

hi i have a group of four girls and a group of two girls in c&c cages They have tunnels, hideys and chew toys. Is it okay to swap tunnels and toys form one cage to another or will the smell cause problems One of the four is very dominant and rumblestrutts a lot Will this get worse if i swap toys between cages.

I have always been led to believe to wash things as smell could cause issues but I could be wrong, be interesting to hear others opinions.

thank you The dominant girl did strut more when the toys from the other cage went in so will keep them seperate
