Swarfega - is this the correct product?

You can get it in "home bargains" on the high street for 99p if you have one?

edit: that link is the right stuff

Yes, that's the one I have - I actually find a spot of washing up liquid does a better job on boars greasy bits then give them a nice bath with Gorgeous Guineas shampoo :(|)
The washing up liquid breaks the grease down just as well, I massaged it through my boys greasy butt hair and it shifted it (and smelled nicer than the Swarfega) :)

I'm not sure if its what people mean, but that is what ive used on my two with no ill effects. However you can buy it in a soap dispenser type thing (same colour and label, just squirty) which is much easier and less messy to use in my experience. :)

HTH

Thanks!

Would fairy liquid type stuff be okay? I suppose it must not be harmful if we use it on our hands, but perhaps concentrated on piggy skin...? =/

I'll see if I have a home bargains shop :)

Fairy liquid or similar is fine. Just be sure to wash it out well so that the piggy can't ingest any. x

I use fairy liquid on my boys too and it works a treat. The trick is to pop a little on the grease gland, work it in and leave it for a few minutes - I usually bribe the boys with some food whilst it goes to work:)) then rinse it out, don't be surprised if a little hair comes away too. If the grease is particularly bad you can use your nails to "pull" it away, sounds gross but does the trick.;)

My gorgeous guineas shampoo did wonders for their grease glands without swarfega though :-)
