Sweep Is Off To The Vets Tomorrow... (yucky Post)

Will be pleased when he has seen John, the area just keeps "healing" over and the area is hard under the cut, and nothing is coming out its more like a slight lump/bump to the skin now- But only slightly. Its hard to explain. I would take a pic, but you cant see it in a picture well...
Either way we see the vet tomorrow- so will feel more relaxed then.
Hes totally fine in himself- eating and drinking - and still trying to hump Honor as she is now in season...lol

Sweep(and Honor for company) has been left at the vets and will have dye injected in him on Monday and xrayed to see extent of infection and after that he may poss operate to open the wound up etc but he will see extent of infection etc and then decide how to treat...all in all I am happy he is being seen by John.

Sweep is home, Antibiotics for another week and then call with update next week. His xray showed a cyst (or something like that- cant remember what he said exactly) under the absess area. So cleaning the wound 3 times a day for a week- plus antibiotics, and then next week call up and hopefully operate to remove the cysty pocket thing. There is infection round it, so he wants that cleared and then operate in next few weeks. He has also taken a swab of the bacteria /infection to see if anything else is going on etc- just to be sure 
All in all i am happy he is home- well both of them home

It is great they are both home. I hope it's not too hard to look after the wound.

He's doing good 
he certainly dosnt act like he is ill 
He runs about like a young pig still (and tries to hump Honor like crazy - as usual now shes' in season
