Senior Guinea Pig
Saturday 26th November 2016, Sweep was helped over the bridge.
Sweep is my old neutered boy who was adopted at age 3.5- 4.5 years old (aprox) from the RSPCA 2.5 years ago.
From day 1 he was the sweetest, gentlest, crazy boy. He was from day 1 my best friend who i adored.
He lived happily with 2 cage mates Honor and Nala who both passed before he did...and was paired with Pandora back in april 2016. They lived happily together until about 2/3 weeks ago when they had a falling out due to Pandora developing Ovarian Cysts. The hope wad to put them back in together now Pandora was spay....but Sweep beibg an old man i needed to be sure...as he has slowed down alot the past few months.
Sweep was always so loud....food obsessed and people friendly....always at the bars for cuddles he slowed doen to where he slept most the day in his cozy beds.
Sweep after a very short illness went downhill fast and i knew he wanted me to let him go...
I had a nice cuddle with him and said goodbye before the vet helped him go to his forever sleep. I am so sad and crushed ....i lost my best friend. He was precious and i loved him loads.
I will forever miss him.
The best friend anyone could ever have....there will never be another boy like Sweep. So people friendly and confident....always at the bard wheaking for cuddles and attention.
