Junior Guinea Pig
Almost a week ago, my partner and I lost one of our boars. He came to us very ill with a chronic middle/inner ear infection, and was hospitalized for the ear infection and GI stasis, syringe fed/on meds for a full month, but fought so hard & was a vibrant and silly boy until the very end.
To my sweet Cory:
I wish we could have spent more time getting to know you, but in the short time that you were ours, you made our lives so much better. I will never forget your piercing wheek, your charming face, or the way you would wiggle like a little worm whenever you didn’t want to take your medicine. Goodbye sweet boy, I hope you’re enjoying infinite mashed banana and first cut Timothy hay seed pods across the bridge. I hope you can run again without wobbling or falling, and I hope that Gilby, Bruce, Crowley, Ruby, Cutie Pie, and Speedy have welcomed you to their heavenly herd!
