Sweet dreams, Spuddy...

After a fight with a traumatic operation yesterday, my darling Sputnik passed away this morning. He had a cyst that was removed, but the operation was just too much and he became too weak. That phonecall from the vets was the worst thing :(
I'll miss the way you used to walk around with your pigloo on your back like a tortoise, and your crazy popcorning whenever you saw the girls through the divider. Your excessive rumblestrutting and your wheeks whenever you heard a bag rustle. You touched everybodies hearts, and I will never find a piggy quite like you.
I remember the first day I saw you as a tiny baby, the first thing you did was nibble on my nail, and since then it has been one of your favourite past times.
I never expected this day to come so soon, and being without you hurts more than I could ever imagine. I miss you already, and I'll miss you everyday.
Words cannot express just how much you meant to me, and how much you contributed to my life. You were the best, Spudpie, and I wish you didn't have to leave so soon.
Sleep tight, and popcorn at the bridge with your brother, Bourbon and little baby Comet.

Oh no! I'm so sorry for your very sudden loss. I'm was really stunned to see this

What a moving tribute to a very special piggie. I'm sorry you lost Spuddy so suddenly. The photos are beautiful and what lovely memories you will have of your special piggie. Popcorn free at the bridge little one, send sweet piggie kisses down to your mummy who is missing you terribly. So sorry..
 
What a handsome chap. I am so very sorry for your sudden loss, he sounds like he was a very good friend. You'll meet again one day,and until then let him bring a smile to your face every time you think of him. That is surely how a fine little fellow like him should be remembered.

Having lost my Fflur in an operation in March, I can feel for you; it is hard to come to terms with it.

That was such a lovly and beautiful tribute. I had a tear whilst reading it. Rest In Peace Spuddy i am so so so so sorry for your loss. xxxxx
