In 2005 we brought home a very backward & skittish guinea pig we named Teddy. He was a rescue piggy that we decided to take in. Slowly over time, he began to come out of his house to lay down & sleep in the open. Then he began to let us pet him on the top of his head if we were slow and gentle about it. As the years passed, we started to call him our “old man” (he would have been 7 years old next month). Our “old man” Teddy passed away this morning and I already miss him terribly. Last February Teddy had surgery to remove some bladder stones and I came to this forum to ask for advice and the people here were very helpful and kind - on behalf of Teddy thank you. Rest in peace Teddy…you were so gentle and sweet…we miss you..

I am so sorry to hear about teddy he sounded like a lovely and lively pig i am so sorry for your loss bigs hugs to you RIP Teddy xx
