Junior Guinea Pig
My sweet Pinky boy, you came into this world and my life exactly 8 years ago today, along with your brother Perky and sister Snowdrop. Your Mummy Ginger was such a great Mummy and you were beautiful little white piggies. Although I did worry you might be lethals! You weren't and infact grew to be such amazing piggies. You lived with your Daddy Big Sandy boy and was his shadow. You were so similar in nature; cautious and gentle, but so so sweet. A lovely calm but curious temperament. When your big Sandy left, we had you neutered to live along with your Mummy and sister. Reunited! Happily you all lived until your Mummy, then your beloved Snowdrop left. I don't think Snowdrop could bear to be without her Mum.
We needed to find you new companions as you were so loving that we knew you'd be too sad alone. Along came 3 new babies, Rosie, Bramble and Peaches. Gorgeous little furry bundles of energy that instantly shadowed your every move. You were their big Pinky. Sadly we lost Bramble very young, but you, Peaches and Rosie lived so happily together until your age caught up with you. Strong as a little ox, you were a fighter and determined to stay for your girls. But 8 years was your limit and you made it exactly to the day, your 8th Birthday. We said goodbye today. Our hearts are broken and we will miss you forever.
Thank you for your sweet love Pinky boy. You lit up my life with your chitter chatter and love of pea flakes. Your cheeky little face and puckered pink lips. Your a good, good piggy and will never, ever be forgotten. I love you Pinky and I'll miss you terribly. Sweet dreams darling.
