Sweet potato query

yes piggies can have sweet potato out of my herd of 6 two only like it.. I just wash the potato then cut/chop it as it is (raw)

I think its a acquired taste.
 
Yes, Sweet Potato is fine for them to eat, just peel and wash. However our's ignore it! Let us know if it is a sucess?

Well.........................................it's a resounding yes! :)) The babies in particular love it! OH is a bit miserable though because there was less for me to cook & him to eat lol :(|)
 
Pumpkin?

Tried a peeled piece of pumpkin, got a definite noses up response! Any guineas anywhere who eat this?
Beetroot is a favourite at the moment. Funny though, when you pick them up, you find a red mouth:)) red poops too! hee hee
 
Mine love very small amounts of the roots. I just give them a little off our sunday lunch veggies when preparing them for us. I was amazed they ate parsnip :) I would have thought it was quite an acquired taste - it was gone in quicksticks, but they will also eat beetroot, sweet potatoes, carrots etc.,

All apart from Poppy who won't eat most veg or fruit rolleyes (I try and try and try with her) and on the other hand Lord Bernie himself will eat every single thing I put in his dish :)) including swede drool rolleyes
