sweet potato

i checked the shopping list and regular potatoes arent allowed, and say that sweet potatoes were ok but it had a question mark at the end, which confused me, so i didnt know if they were definately ok, so thought id check first.

i love sweet potato and buy it every week and would love to share it with my boys but want to make sure its definately ok first?
 
apparently it is, i too get sweet potatoes for myself butive never tried my gp's with it, its not part of the potato family though even though its named a potato..or sovive heard..maybe someone else can say :)

I'm guessing so :o not sure, i dont want to try it til I'm sure its absolutely ok

i didnt know it wasnt part of the potato family :o lol
 
Suppose that makes sense, cos its more like a yam in texture than a potato....
 
Mine get sweet potato sometimes. They eat it raw. They like it but only a very small bit because I think they get sick of the taste after a bit.
 
I've tried mine with sweet potato but they didn't like it.

You feed it raw, peeled & cut into chunks or strips :)
