Sweet Smelling Poops!

We have a four year old piggy who has always been fit and healthy and still is. However I have noticed his poops smell stronger but sweeter (in a yucky way) than normal. He is pooping as normal as ever and are the same colour and consistency. The only thing which has changed is he is on new fleece. I didn't know if it was anything to be concerned about. He has never been impacted before and does not appear to be as he is pooping normally. I have never had to clean his glands before as he has not had any problems. Am I being concerned for no reason? Thanks
 
Have you changed his diet? It could be that his anal sac needs a bit of a clean out - not pleasent, but sometimes it needs a flush out. Do you bath him? This is a good time to do it. I just run the tap (warm water, not hot) right into the area and this works fine. It's good to be vigilent and if the problem continues or worsens, a trip to the vet would be a good idea.
