We are growing sweetcorn for our 4 guinea pigs, I know they can have the leaves around the sweetcorn but we would like to know can they have the leaves from the plant it's self.

Hmmm....I think so, I have never heard anyone say they're dangerous but I wouldn't, just to be on the safe side..

i wouldnt give them personally, just give the corn and the outer leaves which are around the corn :)

Ive never tried my piggies with sweetcorn I take it you all mean the large fresh 1's in the supermarket not the little 1's?

Kath my 4 eat both the lager ones wraped in leaves and the baby ones when i cannot get the big ones.

I grew corn this year. Are you referring to the lovely green leaves, long and shiny which surround the cob?

My boys adored them! I used to pick off the leaves, rinse them and they would chew them up like a long piece of spaghetti!

I've had to grow a new batch - this time just for the leaves!

I don't mean the leaves that coberthe sweetcorn it self but the other leaves that grow on the plant the big ones.
