[The Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue]

Just remembering my gorgeous sweetie who was one of my first piggies.She died a year ago today after only being with us for 8 months,sweetie sparked our love for cavies and we now have 17 all rehome piggies ! So her legacy lives on she was so lovely and taught us early an animal can be a friend if you take time to get to know them.

Oh love i do hope that now you can remember her and smile, it does take so long after a passing of a loved piggie (any pet) so we can all understand your pain

I completely understand what a profound effect losing your first piggy can have, especially one who touched your heart so deeply. How wonderful that such a special legacy lives on in the lives on yourself and also the other piggies who come into your life and are welcomed into your home. Sweetie was clearly adored by you and will be a special inspiration to you forevermore. It's so sad to think of what you've lost so try to remember what you've gained by knowing and loving your beautiful Sweetie x
