Had shock tonight just clipping my 4 month old sows nails and discovered round lump under her chin ! Quite big and it was not there couple of weeks ago.She is healthy and looks great, eating and pooping fine.
Feels round and smooth going vets in the morning get it checked.
Oh dear she so lovely

Bless her, I hope all goes well at the vets and you find out what the lump is. :)

Well thank goodness i took sweetpea. My vets are great and after having quick look she said she would pop needle to see if fluid could be drawn off.As soon as she pricked lump pus started to come out ! Its an abcess. She lanced the abcess and lots of pus and blood came out :(
Sweetpea was brill and kept still bless her.Vet checked jaw line and said that was fine lump was separate from jaw which was good news.
I felt awful as i check my piggies on regular basis, but vet said lumps can come up quick and it may have just been a nip or scratch.
She is now on baytril and going back mon for check i have to irrigate wound and give little pressure make sure its not filling up again.
Oh well panic over
