Q

quickchicks

can guinea pigs swim because i went on you tube and they had lots of videos of guinea pigs swimming.

They can swim but are notnatural swimmers and really hate it. Those videos aren't seen by youtube as "cruel" but I think they are.

They can swim for survival but do not enjoy it. In every video on YouTube where there are pigs swimming you can see them struggling to look for a place to escape the water.

Yeah, in every viedo they get to the edge and try to jump out!

It's very very cruel >:( >:( >:( >:(
I'm sure their little hearts would be racing overtime when they finally get rescued :'( :'( :'( :'(
People and their perverse humour >:( >:( :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

Its disgusting i dont look at anything on Youtube involving making film of pets as the more people view i think the more these idiots will film. :tickedoff:

whatever u do never put a piggy in the water

Well you WOULD want to put a piggy in the water if it was dirty and needed a bath or had some sort of skin condition that needed shampoo and attention.

They don't melt on contact with water but they do not enjoy to swim - a few cm of water is all that is needed for a bath.

Theyre not a water animal. I'm surprised they havent taken in water and its killed them

The Youtube owners should not allow cruelty clips like this. The RSPCA should be told with a view to prosecution on the grounds of physical and psychological cruelty. I bet the majority live in the south east of England - the county that begins with an E and ends in X.

That would be Ms. Know-It-All to you, thanks. ::)

Mine hate just having a bath, and that happens very rarely as it causes them a lot of stress, and thats only in a few cm's of water! So swimming, big no no. I've watched the Youtube stuff and it's horrible, they panic poor little things :-\.

i havent gave my piggies a bath yet - they properly would hate it anyway and i would end up covered in scratches! I cant watch those videos on you tube, i cant believe how cruel some people can be to poor animals. :'(
