Hey guys I'm wanting to switch to GP fleece bedding for my two as I think just doing a washing a week will be easier and cheaper than spending money on wood shavings.

I want your guys' recommendations though as the company I was recommended is a tad expensive. Would a washed out fleece work as well as an actual GP fleece lined bedding?

Thanks!

I used fleece, no matter how i prepped it first, it still got soaked after a day, ive ordered fleece liners now, expensive, but worth it in the long run

I started out with paper bedding, then switched to fleece and was not disappointed. I love picking out fun designs :) plus I found it cheaper to just wash the fleece rather than buying paper bedding each week! Overall, I recommend fleece bedding

I am also a huge fan of fleece and use a mixture of bought liners and ones I made myself.
I think they key to getting it to work is having an absorbent layer underneath such as zorb, mattress protectors (the cotton type - not polyester) or old beach towels.
I have also used a basic fleece blanket placed on top of my absorbent layer, and this worked fine, but in the end I sewed everything together becasue I am lazy and this made life easier!
