My guinea pig is limping and her front foot is extremely swollen, one of her toes seems to have gone inwards from the swelling. I’m bathing her foot in salt water twice a day, any other advice of what would help?4FAB957D-26AF-49DB-8053-1182751D3328.webp9E3EADE4-80F8-45CC-B6DD-EF79F6C1D97F.webp73CE337A-4EA4-4743-8939-3BE9AAC19313.webp

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Sorry your piggy is ill. That foot looks very sore and he needs to see a vet as soon as possible. He probably needs antibiotics, but until he can see the vet keep cleaning the wound with salt water.

Good luck at the vets, and let us know how you get on

Welcome to the forum.
:agr: take your piggie to the vets it may be infected and she may need antibiotics.

Hi and welcome to the forum. The foot looks painful and sore. The second row doesn't look right either. I would definitely go to a vet to find out what is going on before the risk is run that could affect the piggies life

Thankyou everyone for welcoming me!

She has been to the vet, had two anti inflammatory and painkiller/anti biotic injections and needs daily antibiotics, hopefully will see an improvement soon!
