My girl Mimmi is always having some trouble. This time I noticed that her right eye looks a bit watery and having a closer look I felt some swelling on the lower lid. The swollen part is also a bit hard and crusty and the hairs are really short there. The eye is not inflammated and I couldn't see any wounds or anything wrong with it. She keeps it quite open and doesn't squint so it doesn't seem to bother her, but I couldn't see properly under the lid so I don't know what's going on in there. So I'm a bit worried.

What could this be? Any experiences of this sort of a thing?

Is it possible to post a photo?
It's such a poor light now and it really doesn't look like much in a photo :(.. I can try tomorrow with daylight!
It's more like I can feel the swell but it's not very clearly visible.

That's ok, it could be a few different things including URI, hay poke or even fungal so a photo would help in the morning. Is your vet open over the weekend?

It shouldn't be fungal, at least that has been checked so many times with this piggy (she has dry skin that apparently reacts to stress).. Hay poke is possible but there's no infection yet as far as I can see. I hope it's not URI, for now breathing isn't laboured. Maybe I'll be wiser in the morning! There is a ok 24/7 vet available if I need to go.
Thank you @helen105281 :)!

Today I checked the eye in the daylight and it appears I have worried myself over nothing :mal: what I thought was swelling is just a small healing wound that is developing a bit of scarring under the eye. It stretches the lower lid and causes the eye to water but I think that will pass when the skin has healed completely.
