Junior Guinea Pig
We have a poorly piggie at the moment that we rescued in circumstances that I won't go in to at the moment.
She had terrible diarrhea when we got her at the end of last week and had also had two babies both of which died.
She went straight to the vets after we got her and I am pleased to say that her stomach has settled down with the probiotic and critical care and she has gone up from aroound 500g to 550g at todays weigh in.
She is now eating normally and is alot more active, but I noticed that both of her front paws seem quite swolen this afternoon.
Shes got a follow up appointment at 9.30am at the vets tomorrow anyway, but do I need to worry about the swolen paws before that?
It's not something I've seen in a piggie before, but I'm wondering if it's something like bumblefoot? She was treading around in her mess before we got her.
