Swollen Toe..

Just noticed poor gladys has a swollen toe.. its always looked a little bigger than the others but this looks bad .. any ideas please.. its not red and i pressed it gently and she didn't seem to notice..

Definitely get it checked at vets. I had a piggy, many years ago, who got an infection in a bone in her toe and ended up having part of her foot amputated. I am not saying anything like that could happen but better to get it looked at xx

One of my girls Peaches had this. After some anti biotics and anti inflammatory it had totally gone down within around 4 days.

Gosh.. that is what happened to me at 7 days old, i got a bone disease and nearly lost my leg.. will get an appointment made..

Not that it matters, but roughly how much are anti biotics so i can make sure i am prepared as my first vets visit didnt go well..

Last visit was Cesaro it cost about £36. That's with meds and consultation.

Yeah, but at least this time it's anitbiotics and not sprays.

You can always try Forest Vets but I have no idea how much their meds are :/ only taken ours for health checks.

There's Rushcliffe vets as well in West Bridgeford.

Also there's the Alfreton vets but atm Ellie only works certain days.

I can't remember exactly. But I think for the vet to see Peaches, give the antibiotics and anti inflammatory sit cost around £30 ish.
