For a start, my title most likely gives completely the wrong impression, yet at the same time I'm just being honest I guess...

There will be a couple of times during the Christmas holiday period we'll likely be out for around 5-6 hours. Elvis is a dental pig and pretty much entirely syringe fed right now. What's a practical way I can fit in 120ml (as a minimum - he loses if he has much less than this - has had X-rays and bloods done and they're all fine - even the vets were surprised by this!). He'll generally take 25mls per feed. I know there's an easy answer but I can't get my head around it!

I quite often catch him trying to eat from the softened pellets bowl in the morning, so I know if left he likely would have a go, but I still want to make sure I can get his syringe feeds in.

Thank you for your wisdom as always!

@LozzyBee You can only do your best with the time you have. You would have to get up during the night and give him late night feeds if you wanted to give him the full 120ml. But you'll wear yourself out doing that and you deserve to enjoy the festive period.

Just give him what you can, try to give him a bit extra at each feed and give him a bit more on the days you are around.

You can get easily 3-4 feeds into him in 24 hours, when you start early in the morning, feed him before you go out, feed him once you come back, and then feed him before you go to bed. If necessary, get up once in the middle of the night for another feed. ;)

But he will not suffer too badly when you do not feed up to the fullest for a day or two; just feed more on the day after. :)
Make sure that you have got a good Christmas, too!
