Thanks to all the advice I got on this site from all the guinea pig owers, I have managed to syringe feed without problem. I didnt even have to hold Maah, he ran towards me in his cage and gobbled all his liquid nuggets! Thank you for all the advice, it really helped. Mash squeaked ''Thank you'' as well! x:lol:

Good on you!

Syringe feeding can be a real struggle with very ill piggies, but it is more our fear and insecurity that is the problem at first because we project it on the animals, which doesn't help. A lot of it is simply practice, though!
Syringe Training Before The Need For Medicating

Glad that is working for you!

I'm so glad your piggy enjoys it! My Bramble absolutely loves getting critical care from a syringe, I think she likes the extra attention too. Trying to syringe feed Shelly when she was unwell though was like trying to feed a bar of soap XD
It makes recovery so much less stressful for us when they cooperate!

Dot loves cystease Strange girl, all of my pigs have been easy to syringe feed. But burnie i hope il never have to find out
