Senior Guinea Pig
We lost our beautiful Tabitha very suddenly last night before we were able to get her to the vets. We noticed at veg time that she had not got up and when I picked her up out of her bulb her breathing was laboured and we detected fluid on the stethoscope. Our vets are happy for us to give diuretic when needed so we gave her that straight away but sadly we lost her soon after. She passed peacefully in my partner's arms.
Tabs came to live with us from Furry Friends rescue about 2 and a half years ago. Here is her thread.
New Arrivals Tomorrow
She adored her little friend Thumbelina who used to use her as a bunk bed. When her new neighbours Maud and Robyn appeared she found her nemesis in Maud and they used to have chattering matches through the grids, so much so we had to put a correx barrier up for a while. They eventually they had a chatter window until it could be removed altogether. Little madams.
She lost Thumbelina a few months ago but was content on her own with interaction through grids and was happy as long as she had a fleecy bed and some hay.
Love you beautiful gentle angel. Hope you have found Thumbelina at the bridge, don't chatter at Maud if you find her too.
