My new girls have come a looong way in what feels like so much more than just one month!

Just a reminder - here they are on arrival!

This is Taffy now - she's up to 960g as of yesterday (that's 200g more than after she stopped nursing) and is starting to fill out after all those constant pregnancies from being kept in a pen with four boars prior to being rescued.

I love that expressive face of her - especially her pert little nose!

And my favourite pic of Taffy so far - not that afraid of me and my camera anymore!

Tegan is now a changing into a teenager starting to show the beginnings of what looks like a very nicely rounded aby figure with a proper big bum!

My cute little ball of fluff!

They both look really happy!

Looking at the photos of Taffy, she really does look similar to my Ruby (who taffy was housed with) especially the big eyes and the quiff on the head. Do you know if they were from the same rescue? could they be related?

Oh wow Taffy and Tegan really look well compared to when Taffy came in pregnant.

Yeah Taffy and Ruby came in from the same rescue although not too sure if they are related :)

I know that Ruby and Taffy were from the same batch of rescues and came in together; they could be very well related!

Somebody has a baby that looks nearly identical to Tegan from the front (just more red in the back), but from a different sow - I'm sure they must be closely related (most probably the same daddy!)

What beautiful happy healthy looking girls they are. They are soo lucky to have you as their piggy slave.

Taffy still has a long way to go until she's fully recovered from all those back-to-back pregnancies she's had. But she's getting there and she's settling in enough to show her true self now! I get glimpses of a rather cheeky personality every now and then...

Taffy looks so relaxed and carefree compared to the first photo. I think your favourite pic is also my favourite, she looks gorgeous.

I know ive said it before but I just love Aby's! I'm sure they are all very happy to have you as their slave :))

Taffy's big eyes...

It looks like she's very happy now that she's not jumped upon by some boar in search of a thrill or two... I think she's learning to trust her own kind... and you!

Tegan looks a bit of a devil if you ask me (well, you didn't but there you have it! :)) )

Strangely enough, Taffy has started blossoming as soon as she was part of a big group again, and is particularly good friends with Llewelyn! rolleyes
But she certainly enjoys having all that extra energy for a popcorn round the living room! And a strong voice for setting of the wheeking choir!

Tegan is VERY good at pulling "houdinis" - about the only time she shuts up is when you'd wish her not to, so you could find her! mallethead

However, my "devil in disguise" is definitely Nia! :{

Oh my goodness, what simply beautiful, relaxed, confident girlies. I can't believe it's a month already, and what a difference you've made to their lives, Wiebke. I do so enjoy your photo-shoots.

Aww, they're lovely pictures. Is it really only a month since they came to you? It feels like much longer. Beautiful girlies, you should be very proud of how far they've come. x

Yes, Llewelyn was rescued from a wildlife place in Midwales where they had the grand idea of having a run with chickens, buns and piggies all together... with some pretty gruesome results when the chickens got hold of a baby bunny.
It took AGES to get past Llewelyn's deeply embedded duck and dive survival instincts and to turn him into a proper pet!

Maybe this is also why he's such a caring boy to all his ladies x)x)x)x)

Mind you, his caring instincts stop short of the food bowl! He is still a piggy with a strong sense of self-preservation! :))

AWW Bless them. Taffy deserves a little bit of peace and happiness now doesn't she? And tegan is so so adorable! I love your aby's Weibke they are just so so pretty.

oh my, that's a pretty awful story....

well done you for giving him a home, a rel one, not a chicken run...

It's lovely to see all 5 thrive! Keep the pigtures coming, we all love them, as you know!
