Was putting some jewellery away yesterday and an earring back fell and landed somewhere in the vicinity of the guinea pigs... despite searching I have no idea exactly where it fell which meant everywhere it could have possibly fallen had to be cleaned! The girls had a bedding change, and I've thrown out any open bags of hay or anything it could have fallen into, and given the area a thorough hoover! Meant throwing away two just opened bags of hay, but I'd rather that than risk one of my girls accidentally swallowing an earring back! I'm about to head out to make a run for more hay and treats as I've had to throw out quite a lot... the things us piggy slaves will do to rest easy ! :))

This is where you will find the earing back on plain sight on the floor later today or somewhere tomorrow. ;)

Elsa is clearly completely oblivious to all my fretting and is busy showing off her front and back chookens at the same time! !

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has done that! Once my necklace chain broke just over Teddy's cage and I changed it all just in case, because I wasn't sure if I found all the parts of the chain. Luckily no hay bag was near it, so didn't have to throw it away, but if it was, I would have done it too :))

Same here.Anything breaks in the kit her it gets hoovered completely in case there are any bits on the floor the dogs can hurt themselves

I'm glad it's not just me who is crazy paranoid over their piggies!

Reminds me of something.... my friend bought me some Thomas Sabo earrings... I wanted to take them out to clean them, I was stood over the sink and I purposely stood back so that if I dropped one it wouldn't fall down the sink... well I did drop it and do you think I could find it! I called both children into the bathroom and the 3 of us were on our hands and knees, I got the dustpan out, then got the vacuum out then emptied the vac and pain staking went through the dirt.... 2 odd hours and nothing... I just don't know where on earth it went, I even stripped my clothes off and nothing, sadly ive never found it!
