I am going away in a few months and have found an excellent piggy lodge which is about 2 hours/3 bus journeys away. I have a lovely wicker carrier to put the piggies in. It's a cat's one really, but will be perfect for my two large boys.

I planned to line the carrier with a thick furry blanket for the boys to sit on for comfort while we're on the bus, and to feed the boys' their favourite veggies through the bars to keep then happy and relaxed, but my mum says it'll be far too stressful a journey for them, and that I should get my boyfriend who drives to take them to the holiday lodge, but my boyfriend stresses me out and has the car radiator on far too high which can't be good for the piggies.

Will it really be too stressful to take them on the bus?

I have travelled quite long distances by train and by car, and have made shorter journeys on the bus with piggies. All ways are possible.

However, if you have the option to go by car, I would recommend to take it; it is less stressful than a series of noisy buses with most likely windows open and big drafts, and lots of stops and goes that jolt the boys awake. Can you get your bf to turn down the radiator for the piggies's sake? The journey should also be quite a bit shorter by car, as you can drive directly.
