Lisajazz
Senior Guinea Pig
I dont know who remembers the rescue sow I took in over 3 weeks ago Tallulah - she was dumped with her 4 babies, skinny and scabby.
Well her fungal / mites stuff was much healed a little while ago but she just seemed to be going through the motions and really didn't seem happy.
I was advised to remove her baby boys and start putting her and her daughters out on Sunny days. I also have been enriching her life as much as possible and giving her a very wide range of food. Well today she started popcorning and tearing round and round her cage like a loon. Ahh it was a delight to see - I can' tell you how happy I was. She seemed transformed from the shy rather small little figure of before. Her wheeks for dinner were louder than ever before and I think she's well on the road to an emotional recovery.
Well done Tallulah!
OH and her boys are doing great too - they are such cheeky misters and up for reservation on the rehoming board - cheeky charlie and mischievous marv - check them out!
