I just finished my first tapestry. It was so challenging and took me six months! I thought the crafters may like to see it.

It's by dmc designs. Whomever made the kit did not put enough thread as three times I had to order more!

Oh no! I recently finished a DMC cross stitch sampler and I ran out of thread too!

How strange! I will not buy from them again. It was very frustrating.

Maybe just buy the charts next time with separate threads? What kind of things do you like to stitch? I like Bothy Designs at the moment.

Ah yes but a beginner to tapestry. Usually I stick to long stitch. I'm not very good though.

I used to be able to knit, but it's been so long that I can't remember how. My mum used to crochet (sp?) too. I'm more of a writer than a practice craft type person. Also I do bits on the sewing machine Tapestry is lovely.
