for Kasper and Quinn. Kasper mastered all 3 three games this evening but Quinn really has no idea mallethead. Has anyone else had any luck with it?

Merrypips boys were amazing at something very similar! They were so impressive to watch do it :))

We got Cookie and Treacy one too and Treacle mastered 2 games but Cookie was having none of the working for her food malarky :))

Cookie must be like Quinn then! Quinn has decided that he shouldn't have to work for peppers when I just hand it to him lol

I think that shows a certain level of intelligence :))

We have one. We have had varied success with it.... it very much depends on your pigs.

Angus is very clever and a whizz at it, getting the thing empty in a few seconds and hiding the pieces behind the sofa....

Hamish is great at getting the idea but due to his sensory issues (nearly blind and partially deaf) he can open the game and find the food easily but the others sometimes pinch it before he can get it out of the hole :(

Suilven is a bit dense and isn't that great at it, mainly he is a piggy that likes to look good but hasn't got much brain... ;)

Arran was great at it but used to bully the others and pinch their hard earned food! ( He doesn't live with us any more)

Haven't had it out for a bit so maybe should try it again especially as I have a new very nosey pig who would love it! It's worth persisting, it takes some of them more time to get the hang of it than others, using a really smelly vegetable as the treat like basil or fennel works best so they know what's in there. Hamish can smell out anything though! Pepper works well too but carrot was too bland to be interesting. I have some photos of them in action somewhere....

This looks like something my Jerry would love! I think Marley could master it too. I won't hold my breath for Frankie....haha!

Where did you get it from?

I might just get one of these to see if I've got any brainy piggies. lol ha ha

I got it from a local garden centre but friends have got them online or in other pet stores. They are made by Living World and are relatively easy to get hold of.

Lots of fun to watch but you need to be quick with refills as if it's empty too many times when they look for something then they will just lose interest and give up on it.
