Hi all, my youngest pig norma seems to have a bad case of Teddy bear nose. Scaly stripe down the middle of her nose. Doesn't bother her and hasn't spread but it has slowly slowly over the last 4 months gotten more obvious. Is their anything I can use to help reduce it?

Also my other pig Clive has had a weepy eye for some time now. She went to the vets and was given eye drops for 7 days 2 times a day I treated both of them but Clive seems to have got it back. Its usually just clear and wet under her right eye. I did initially think it was just her cleaning fluid but it's definately gotten a bit worse now. I clean it daily with just water on a cotton pad ... Any suggestions before I goto the vet again?

Thank you all xx

Teddy bear nose is usually self limiting. If it’s changed in appearance over the last few months I think I would get it checked out at the vets to ensure that it isn’t anything more serious or whether it needs treating.
As for Clive, I don’t mess around with eyes, it always get the vet to check. A weepy eye can be a sign of hay poke, conjunctivitis, a sign of a URI or even a sign of a dental problem. I would ask your vet to check Clive’s eyes fully under UV lamp and also to check her teeth.
hope that’s helpful.
