I've noticed some piggies have teddies. Are they just normal teddies? I need a teddy?!

Anyone know were I can get one?

I think Laura CCC4 uses dog toy 'teddies' for hers, I think they are Dr Noys dog toys or similar, you can get them from Pet Planet or Pets at Home or The Company of Animals

Some guineas snuggle up to them, I don't know because I have toooo many piggies here!

I've just given them normal teddys, Pinky (my older sow) loves to snuggle up with the dog. I they chew on them and tear open just replace insides with hay and sew back up. Don't give them fluffy ones though, towely/fleecy types are better.:)

They look very similar to what I have for my pigs except they don't have a squeaker in.
Try them with the piggies they may like them.

bambi has a pound puppie

its seems piggies like cuddly dogs :)p

Pumpkin has 2 fur sheep that I bought from a toy shop.
he has one in with him while the other one is being washed and he loves them, he always snuggles up to them to sleep.
He has had them for 2 years and has never chewed them so works well for him because he has hated all other Gps with a vengance since he lost the love of his life

Is there anything particular I have too look for in my teddy, and were would be a good place to go?!

When my pig's sister died I bought a teddy bear from a charity shop for £1. I thought it might be something nice for her to snuggle up to. Charity shops have loads of teddies and soft toys but you obviously have to choose something appropriate, making sure it has no 'chewable' features and that the fur is in really good condition. The one I got is a back pack teddy, it's nice and floppy with a big flat tummy (I cut off all the back pack straps). I washed it and made sure none of the filling was coming out before I put it in with her. I kept an eye on the interaction she had with it to make sure she wouldn't chew it but she just sniffed it and walked away...looking more than a little disappointed I might add. A great shame, because I've seen some super cute photos of pigs snuggling up with their teddies! Thankfully my piggy is in the process of getting a real life furry friend now. No doubt her new guinea friend will love the teddy, and knowing the little lady she will go 'hmmmm, this teddy is quite cool, maybe I want it after all...

I got a big floppy teddy from Mothercare as I figured if its safe for babies then it would be okay and they love it x). Got a smaller dog toy teddy from the local pet shop and they hate it :)>>>, it gets completetly ignored, so my advice is go large :(|)

When Sully went to the bridge i bought Duke a 'dog toy' teddy, i took off the chewable eyes and drew them back on with black non toxic texta :) Duke loved this teddy. I used to find Brownie Bear (name i gave the teddy, named after a friends piggie) in a different part of the cage each morning! :))
Then for his 6th birthday cause he wasn't moving around much i bought him a normal small teddy, he never chewed this teddy he used to just head butt it around :))
Both these teddies now live on my bed :)

Some of my piggys have teddys too, they are just teddys that are suitable for newborn babies. They snuggle up to them and love them xx

My piggies have each got a floppy dog type sot toy which they love.
One is in Patch's (the boar) cage on his own and the other one is the sows cage. I swap them every 2 days and Patch gets excited at teddy swap time as the one fro the girls cage is exciting for him!x)rolleyes
He becomes very attatched!
They'll all be together soon when the new age is done.

My girls love their teddies, they snuggle next to them, sometimes they try and hump them rolleyes Mainly Bright Eyes :))
They like to use them to rest their heads on :)
