just got back from pub and gave piggles veggies. Thought it was odd teddy wasnt interested. He is lopsided and dying. I have him out for cuddles. Am i better off putting himback with muffin in his cage or should i just sit with him? He is 3 and a half. He was fine yesterdsy x
 
Am sorry to hear this, is it possible to get him to the vets?
 
I held my old piggie Willow while he was dying & popped him in a little nest of hay right at the end but kept my hand on him.

It is always good to let cagemates see their friend has died after the event.

Up to you if you pop him back in now or not, do what he seems more comfortable with.

If you're not sure if he's actually dying or just ill, I would get him to a vet.

This is so sad, it's reassuring to let them know you're there, I've held many of mine in my arms while they've passed. My thoughts are with you cat xx

I am very sorry for you and Muffin, but glad that it was fairly quick for Teddy and that he could go surrounded by all your love.

Just want to say thankyou for all your support. The sun is shining today so steve and i will go out shortly to bury him. I left teddy in the cage with muffin last night and muffin seems ok at the moment but i guess its hard to tell. X
