Teddy just made me cry with laughter!

Our little Teddy had the vets today :(

His fur is growing back lovely and he is gaining weight, but the vet wanted to do a follow up check which was in with the original cost :)

I would give you all proper weights but after unpacking my scales I found they were broken pow-pow and need to go buy some new ones!
But you can see and feel when picking him up he's getting bigger :)

Anyway!

We only live down the road from the vets but the Jon, other half decided to head down a bit early, popped Teddy into a cardboard carrier, then realized he hadn't got his wallet or phone and needed to pop to the loo.

He got himself sorted picked up Teddys carrier and headed off.

A couple of mins later Jon, walked through the door, WAVES THE CARRIER AT ME and goes "Your piggys are evil Kira!" then starts stalking round the living room...@)

THEN i looked at the carrier...there was a nicely chewed hole! Jon had taken an empty carrier to the vet :)) much to the amusement of the receptionist who had thought Jon was crazy :))

I couldn't help but laugh my head off at Jon I really couldn't!

Teddy had been enjoying scampering around behind the sofa, (which is in the middle of the room) so I hadn't noticed!

It was lucky Jon decided to go a bit early after all :))

He MUST be light for your other half not to notice... rolleyes
 
LOL! I wished id seen his face when he realised he had an emply carrier, I'm sure Teddy loved his little escape for freedom haha :(|)
 
I was shocked he didn't notice, but he'd put a small log bridge house in for him to hide in while he was in the carrier so I think he must have forgot he put it in and the weight from that confused Jon :)) either way I still keep giggling I think it's hilarious hehehe
 
that is hilarious, i like the way when they do something cute it is our piggy/ies but when they are naughty it is mummy's piggy/ies rolleyes
 
I'm imagining a guinea pig shaped hole in the box, like you see in cartoons. Teddy must know what the scary box means and made his bid for freedom. Way to go Teddy. You made your mummy laugh and that is the best medicine..

Poor Teddy knew what was happening :)) he didn't want to go.
Bless him, your poor OH, i thing his ego and pride is embarrassed more :))

I guess this means Jon wont be taking the piggies next time?
Oh the girls at the vets.........i wonder they didn't end up on the floor giggling so much :(|)

wish I'd been at the surgery!:)):)):)) Jon's face must have been priceless realising with shock horror that 'your' piggy wasn't in the box...
 
he's vowed he'll never be taking ANY of the piggies to the vet again :))
hehehe it still makes me chuckle thinking about it =p

he has not seen the funny side yet then..... oh well maybe invest in a plastic carrier

That's what Jon's just come home with! :))
He looked very pleased with himself plonked this giant pet carrier ont he floor and said "unless those piggys have teeth of steal I'm safe!" :))

now..where can I get a steal toothed guinea pig? LOL :))
