So today I left the boys out in their (indoor) run a bit longer than I normally do and then when I was cleaning them out, I took out most of their hides/toys to put back in their cage. Well, the combo of being hungry and out in the open with each other created a hormone surge and there was teeth chattering and then a lunge from my dominant pig to his brother. Luckily his brother backed down and scarpered and there was no contact, but I fished him out and of course they instantly wanted to be back together
They’re both in their cage now, sitting side by side eating food, getting out of each other’s way when one asks etc.
Flippin’ teenage boy hormones!
