I was topping and tailing some carrots that I was going to have for dinner and gave them to the guineas, along with their veggies. Little Patches went straight for the carrot top, as I walked to the kitchen, I heard lots of scrabbling.
Looked over and saw poor Patches, with his front top teeth speared into the carrot (stuck) and trying to use his paws to scrape it off! (The other 2 weren't interested, they were too busy tucking into their food!)
I had to pick Patches up (he was very distressed to have a carrot attached to his face) and gently pull it off his teeth! Sadly, not pictures, as he was very very upset, and needed a cuddle with easier vegetables -- namely coriander!
