i have a group of girls that are hard to handle(don't think they have been handled much before) anyway there is sometimes teeth chattering especially when i go to pick them up.

More concerned as they seem to chatter at each other a lot, the same one starts it all the time, Should i seperate the one i think it is?

Not sure about girlie behaviour compared to boys, but I find that sometimes our boys chatter a bit, but it's not aggressive, it's fairly quiet, like a loud hay munching. I don't honestly know why they do it - perhaps they are mildly annoyed at something! One will often do it when the cagemate is nowhere near them or asleep, so it's clearly not the other pig doing anything wrong in those kind of instances.

Is it a very loud clacking and is there any other aggressive behaviour going on at the same time?

it's resonable loud, of course when one starts they all start! I often hear one pig sqealing(sp) but can never see which one has bothered which, as when i get there they are all quiet!
