Does anyone elses piggy chatter their teeth when you go to put them in their cage after floor time? My younger pig does this and I find it quite upsetting that he doesn't seem to trust me as much as my other one.

No, haven't had this but have you tried putting some fave food in the cage for him to go back to? Although knowing guineas and food, he'll probably just sit and wait to go home!

Yes, I have tried this but he still makes noises at me! He doesn't try to bite or anything he just makes threatening noises. He won't even eat anything from my hands so can't even lure him with that. He hasn't had an easy time of it since I got him from ,wait for it, P@H. Got him on the 31st Dec and since then hes been at vet twice the last time being last Saturday when he had to get 2 injections for suspected urine infection. Maybe he thinks I'm catching him to take him back to vets for more nasties which might actually have to happen as I don't think problem has cleared up.

Tiger sometimes does this when he's on my knee, but then he settles down and starts to chirp and purr. Is it an aggressive noise?

As far as I know it's supposed to be a sign of aggression but I'm quite new to guinea pigs so could be wrong?

also i out a plastic ball with a bell in her cage today and she makes the same noise at the ball when it jingles :) lol
