Hello, Just a quick question... Lily has started grinding her teeth at random. She doesn't do it in an aggressive way at all, she just does it for a short period of time but a few times a day. This is something that she did not usually do so I was just wondering if it is normal?

Thank you

Mine do it, most pigs do, either to get the bits of food stuck in their back teeth (they have 20 teeth altogether) or simply just because they want to, I don't think anyone's 100% sure why they do it.

Is it like a teeth chattering? My Kyper did it to my Umi when they first met. Kyper was letting Umi know to stay away. They are fine now, but at the time they did not like each other. Does Lily have a cage mate?

Good point! I think teeth chattering is like a fast chatter, like we do when we're cold, whereas the grinding is slower.

Is she eating ok and maintaining her weight?
