Hi can someone tell me what teeth grinding means please pie was laying down grinding his teeth only for few seconds

lf i remember corectly , teeth grinding is a sign that an animal is in pain

if he continues ask vet to give him a general health chec

Yey pain stress, , a dental problem, though if it is a one off thing l wouldend get to concerned

I'd watch and see if it continues. If it does then I'd get him vet checked as it can be a sign of pain, stress or a dental problem as @gizzy says. However he could simply have been finishing grinding a bit of hay he was storing in his cheeks if it was a one off and short lived.

Repeated teeth grinding is usually a sign of pain or dental problems (which are generally painful).

If it is just a short one-off, then I would keep an eye on the piggy for a time, but not worry too badly yet. It can happen with nothing the matter.
