@furryfriends (TEAS) .... I have posted before 're my guinea Tilly and you were so kind and helpful . Basically her teeth are a constant issue. She is nearly 4. About 2 1/2 years ago she started having issues with her teeth. Have a lovely vet who is trying so hard but we don't seem to be getting anywhere with her now . He says her teeth grow so crooked that they don't even meet at the front and the back ones ... one grown to the cheek and other to the tongue so again bad. She has them trimmed was every few months but from last June every 3 to 4 weeks... now every 2 to 3 weeks. She eats softened pellets ... but hasn't munched veg or hay for months so nothings grinding them down .. but if they grow so odd I don't know the solution. He has twice taken her front down to near gums and although she takes longer to eat she seems happier that they not blocking food going in as when they grow it's like scissors that just don't meet to cut... they just don't help her to pick up anything they just block her trying. I tried to feed a blade of grass other day... omg the mouth and tongue were everywhere ... pawing mouth trying to get the grass in the right place to chew. Needless to say we didn't try again. I'm worried as pellets can't be good for her with nothing else.. I mush up some veg but no hay or grass? I can't travel far as my husband is on chemo ... do you take guineas in ? Maybe you could pm me with full dets. Just if it's a growth issue i see on going visits and not a one off which I can't do. I have so much time off with my hubby . Thanks for any advise
