Hi Debbie,
I'm a little unclear what the problem is at the moment. All of my pigs aren't eating their Burgess nuggets, literally stopped overnight. It's the same bag, and it's stored in a airtight container outside inside a hutch which is in a waterproof cover, however following a suggestion, it could be that it's damp. Veggies are being eaten and hay. However, I've fed them critical care and weighed them and they are all (bar 1) on okay weights. However, 'Mars' has refused everything. His weight is 891 whereby his cage mate is 1198lbs. Mars weight has never that of Bruno, but it's clear he has lost weight. The other niggling issue is that Mars and Bruno have never been big hay eaters compared to all other piggies. In fact i got concerned and decided to put a hay rack but they ignored that so I've reverted to putting hay into a corner unit to monitor, again it's difficult to see what they have eaten or dragged for bedding.
'Mars' teeth look longer than I would expect. Mars has really gobbled up the critical care today which is encouraging and has got me thinking I have two issues going on here. 1) something is wrong with the original burgess food 2) Mars teeth are too long.
I'll grab a photo and will post one for you.
