Mimmi is almost 6 years old and has suffered from tummy problems for almost a year now. More recent problem are her incisors which are not wearing down in an even way although they have been cut twice. Back teeth are ok, which is a bit weird since her eating is very difficult. Also jaw is good, and jaw joints are ok. Left eye seems to sit deeper in the head than the right one and is also tearing up occasionally. X-ray showed nothing suspicious, it was actually really nice-looking fir her age. Just a faintest of shadowing on the right side molars, but since her weight is so low (she can't eat very much on her own and her tummy problems have also weakened her though I supportfeed her every day) the vet said that we have to try antibiotics for the probable inflammation or she won't make it anyway. So this is Mimmi's last chance :(. We are starting ab tomorrow. Luckily, Mimmi is a fighter and a really feisty little piggy. Please list me the tricks and tips to use while she is on ab, to give her a fighting chance! Her guts are not doing good so I'm pretty worried for her. Also if you have any experience of teeth problems that don't show on the x-ray, please share!

Have you tried some probiotics alongside the antibiotics? I don't know what is available in Finland. When my lot are on ABs I give the probiotics 1-2 hours after the antibiotics.

Thank you! I will be giving her probiotics, one suitable brand is biobakt.
