I've just taken the boys the vets for a check over...now ginger's bottom teeth are longer than the should be but the vet wasn't concerned as it wasn't causing inflammation. But thinking about Ginger is the dominant and he's nearly 100g lighter than Chocolate. Do I need to go to a different vet and get his teeth trimmed if they do that? He certainly eats slower than chocolate.

It is great that you took them to the vet, but it does sound like your vet might not be a specialist when it comes to piggy teeth.
For now I would use a digital kitchen scale and start weighing Ginger at the same time every day.
Depending on his age his weight should either be holding fairly steady (if he is an adult) or steadily climbing (if he isn't fully grown yet).
If he is consistently loosing weight then he definitely needs ot see an experienced piggy vet to have his teeth rechecked.

Hi! Did your vet look at the back teeth or only at the front teeth?

He did check the back as well didn't mention any problems, and I've weighed them regularly since I've had them ginger is gaining but much slower there than chocolate.
