cuddles

Domino had been loosing weight so i got the vet to trim his teeth. He is a 4 year old boar. His two top incisors are now growing pointing away from each other like tusks and are wobbly like they will fall out.i am feeding him soft foods and some nutri gell and hes gaining weight but should i get them trimmed or let them break off like they seem to do? i want them to grow back strait not wonky also. Thanks

I would find a vet who is willing to do dental work without anaesthetic. If there's a problem with his incisors growing it's very likely it's caused by a problem with his molars and that will need urgent attention.

Is nutri gel the same there as it is here? If so is it not formulated for dogs and cats? It doesn't give guinea pigs fibre which is what they need. Oxbow Critical Care is sold in some places in New Zealand - it is a complete handfeeding solution for pigs that aren't eating. http://www.oxbowaustralia.com/new_zealand.htm
