Hi, I wonder if you could give me some advice on a potential tooth problem.

My Gp has been unwell and I have been syringe feeding her, I checked her over today and her incisors are starting to wear unevenly. Incisors top and bottom on her left are now slightly longer than the right and now slightly in front of the right hand teeth. I have some experience of trimming teeth but dont want to make matters worse. My vet isn't a GP specialist so I thought I would run it by you first. Any help or a nearby GP vets location would be appreciated. I am in Cheshire.

Thanks! I can make my way to Holmes Chapel.

The only comment I can make on that surgery is that it is very expensive! I rang for a quote for a drug for another exotic, I rang four different surgeries and Cheshire Pets quote was fifty pounds more expensive than the next most expensive and eighty pounds more expensive than the cheapest! I will have to keep my fingers crossed they are more reasonable with their dental work.

Hope she will be OK. I have had her for four years now, she is the last of fifty years of continual GP keeping. I say the last, I have contacted a rescue as she seems lonely! Here we go again.

If you are willing to travel, or to let her come and stay here at the Sanctuary as a temporary resident, she could be seen by Simon Maddock, who is probably the best vet for dental work. I take in guinea pigs with dental issues and he has worked wonders with so many. People travel from all over the country to go to him. He carries out dental work with the guinea pig conscious which keeps prices lower too.

Where are you based? I don't tend to drive long distances any more (showing my age) I would like to get her the best treatment.
