My Dylan has an issue that I've never come across before. He has somehow managed to chip his top right incisor tooth right up to the gum. It doesn't seem to be painful for him, however he's left a couple of bits of veggies in his nightly bowl, but I think that is due to them being awkward to eat (being carrot and 1 bit of celery) with only one tooth on top.
I wouldn't be too bothered if it was a one off, but this is the third time at least that it's happened to him, and he's not even one yet. The times before it luckily hasn't effected his other teeth too badly - the bottom right incisor just got a little longer, but once the top one grew back it was soon ground down again.

Just wondering if there's any tips to prevent it keep happening? It's ruining his handsome appearance... ;-)

My old piggy had constant horrendous dental issues due to a misaligned jaw, meaning for 8 years he was in and out of vets, and I asked to be taught how to manage anything I could myself to save time and effort etc, so I haven't taken Dylan yet, purely because I'm aware of what to look out for if the back teeth were to grow out or anything, he's still happy and pain free, and the chipped incisor grows back so quickly as it's not being worn on anything that the issue is sorted within a fortnight.
Just obviously I'd rather it didn't keep happening to him. My first thought was calcium deficiency, but his diet is no different to any others and they seem fine...
