Hello all,

So after going to the vets, my piggy Juniper is now on a strict diet as she may have Dysbiosis.
Even after slowly reintroducing small amounts of veggies, shes immediately suffering with a poorly belly and soft poos.

No veggies for a few weeks, possible a month depending on how she recovers.
Shes got recovery food and fibreplex. Also having an external lab test to check her poos for anything bad. No cysts or anything else spooky.

Looking for advice on how to supplement her diet without veggies.

She eats Timothy Hay from Haybox, Selective Natural Grain Free pellets. She wont touch her water if it has Pro C in it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again

I’m sorry to hear this

She will be fine with hay, pellets and recovery feed - it contains all the nutrition she needs.
She needs her gut to settle and rebalance so anything which may trigger an issue needs to be off the menu.

We do not recommend anything be added to drinking water/bottles. As she needs a probiotic then it is best directly administered to her ie the fibreplex either by itself or mixed into recovery feed

I hope she is ok

Thank you so much for your reply Piggies&Buns. I'm feeling a lot more optimistic after the vet trip, its so stressful because they can't tell you whats wrong.

Thankfully her appetite is ravenous, so shes constantly munching on hay. She got very angry when I took her sister into another room to secretly give her veggies, Juniper gave me the biggest side eye.

Ive mixed the Fibreplex with a small amount of water so I can use a decent syringe, and I believe it is helping :)
